10:00 – 10:30 Arrival at Manasija Monastery and tour of the monastery complex.
The Manasija Monastery, with the Church of the Holy Trinity and surrounded by fortified walls, is also known as Resava, named after the nearby Resava River. This endowment of Despot Stefan Lazarević was built in the early 15th century as the largest church of the „Morava school“ and marks the final chapter of the great medieval era of Serbian ecclesiastical art.
11:30 – 11:45 Departure for Resava Cave.
13:00 Tour of Resava Cave.
Resava Cave is one of the largest and most beautiful caves in Serbia. Its stunning cave formations were created over 45 million years ago. Due to its wealth and colorful formations, Resava Cave is often called the “Beauty of Resava.” The tour lasts approximately 45 minutes and is guided by a professional local guide.
14:00 Drive to the “Vodopad Lisine” restaurant.
14:30 Lunch – a selection of meat and fish specialties served in the unique setting of the “Vodopad Lisine” (Waterfall Lisine) restaurant, located within a protected nature reserve.
16:30 Departure for Belgrade
Arrival in Belgrade around 19:00
Note: The temperature inside Resava Cave is a constant 7°C (44.6°F). Please bring warmer clothing for the cave visit.
